Ameesha Patel is an Indian actress who appears in mainly Bollywood movies. She had a dream debut in the blockbuster Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai along with Hrithik Rohsan. Ameesha won critical praise for her performance in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which became one of the biggest hits in the history of Hindi cinema. She earned Filmfare Special Performance Award for the movie.

Later part of Ameesha career has been known more for her off-screen personal life than on-screen performance. After being on sideline for couple of years, she is now again gaining traction with her acting career with solid perfomances in Ankahee and Bhool Bhulaiyaa

Ameesha Patel had a controversial relationship with filmmaker Vikram Bhatt which ended in 2008. She has dated Kanav Puri and now recently turned single.
