Kim Kardashian look alikes who wants to capitalize on their looks are going to have hard time getting modeling jobs. Kim Kardashian is suing Old Navy for using a Kim's look alike in its advertisements.

In a statement released by Kardashian’s spokesperson, her attorney Gary Hecker confirmed Kim Kardashian's right to lodge lawsuit against Old Navy. Her attorney said Kim Kardashian is immediately recognizable, and is known for her look and style. Her identity and persona are valuable. When her intellectual property rights are violated, she intends to enforce them.

Gap Inc. has used Melissa Molinaro for their advertisement. When asked about the pending lawsuit, Gap's spokeperson offered no comment. Melissa Molinaro is not a new face, she is renowned Canadian singer and model. Melissa Molinaro's Old Navy advertisement received over million hits on YouTube within its first week. Several magazines, including People, noticed Miss Molinaro's similarity with Miss Kardashian.

Well, this lawsuit has definitely put Melissa Molinaro in the limelight and now she will be known outside of Canada.
