Parineeti Chopra is probably sick of being asked, if she got the role in the movie Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl due to Priyanka Chopra's recommendation. Luckily for Parineeti, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl's director has come to her rescue.

In a recent interview, Maneesh Sharma, director of Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, said - Priyanka Chopra didn't suggest her cousin Parineeti's name to him. Maneesh spotted Parineet at Yash Raj's office, where Parineeti worked in the marketing department. Maneesh was looking for an actress for the movie and asked Parineeti if she would be interested in the movie. Parineeti did agree and after the auditions, she got the dream role. When Maneesh offered the much coveted role to Parineeti, he was not even aware she is Piggy Chops cousin.

Being cousin of a famous and leading Bollywood actress can be a double sword. At one hand, Parineeti is getting lots of publicity for the movie and on the other hand, her acting will be judged with Priyanka in mind. People's expectation for Parineeti is very high and they will crucify her, if she doesn't deliver as good as Priyanka. For a newcomer nothing can be more unfair.
